Salary & Benefits

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Therapist Specialist to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients to evaluate their functional independence and develop personalized treatment plans.

Treatment Plans

Your primary responsibilities will include collecting and recording patient care data, implementing treatment plans, and executing plans of care on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for selecting and administering tests and measures, synthesizing evaluation results to formulate diagnoses, goals, prognosis, and plans of care, and establishing treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional independence and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Select and administer tests and measures
  • Synthesize evaluation results to formulate diagnoses, goals, prognosis, and plans of care
  • Establish treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and patient support systems
  • Provide education and training to patients and/or patient support systems
  • Oversee support staff of PTA, ATC, PT aides
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree required; Doctorate degree preferred
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
  • Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
  • Valid CPR License
  • Experience/knowledge with an EMR software is preferred
  • Excellent oral, written communication
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
  • Basic computer skills
