Job Title: RN Weekend Supervisor

Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled RN Weekend Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department
  • Scheduling and assigning nursing staff as needed for the department
  • Maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility
  • Supporting nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
  • Ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed at all times

Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York
  • Minimum of 1-year RN experience
  • Strong assessment skills and interpersonal skills
  • Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
