Key ResponsibilitiesThis role is situated within a Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will utilize your nursing expertise to deliver care tailored to each patient's specific needs and treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering therapeutic, individualized care to patients and their families.
- Educating patients and caregivers to ensure compliance with care plans and promote overall health and wellness.
- Employing sound judgment in determining the appropriate sequence of procedures and treatments.
- Accurately documenting and reporting pertinent patient information.
Your work will be subject to general oversight by a registered nurse (RN) or physician (MD/DO) to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
Work ScheduleMonday to Friday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Telework: Not applicable.
Physical Requirements
This position may require occasional heavy lifting (45 lbs and over), moderate carrying, standing, walking, kneeling, and other physical activities. Candidates must have the ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and possess visual acuity for near and far vision, as well as depth perception and hearing capabilities.
Qualifications
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and meet specific educational and licensure requirements. A graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program is essential, along with an active, unrestricted nursing license. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is mandatory.
