Join Our Team as a Child Focused Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Focused Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a Child Focused Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children, adolescents, and families in our community.

About the Role

This is a full-time or part-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team of mental health professionals. As a Child Focused Therapist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and referrals to minor clients and their parents/guardians. You will also collaborate with other Child Services providers, including medication management, psychological assessment services, and other mental health providers to meet client needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and referrals to minor clients and their parents/guardians.
  • Create and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes.
  • Collaborate with other Child Services providers, including medication management, psychological assessment services, and other mental health providers to meet client needs.
  • Coordinate services with external care providers, including case managers, families, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Clinical licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.
  • Passion and experience working with and meeting the unique mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families.
  • Knowledge of developmental principles and awareness of the intersection between normative child development and psychopathology in the diagnosis and treatment of children/families.
  • Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems, including collection of co-payments.
