Job Title: History Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join our team at LIFELONG LEARNING ADMINISTRATION CO. As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for our students, helping them develop a deeper understanding of historical events and their significance.

Job Summary:

The History Teacher will plan, organize, and implement a comprehensive instructional program that meets the needs of our diverse student population. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assess student progress, and provide support to students who require additional assistance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of history and education
Requirements:
  • Valid California Single Subject or Multiple Subject in History or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree with a major or minor in History or a related field
  • English Learner Authorization
  • Successful passing of the California Basic Skills Exam
  • Enrollment in a State-approved teacher preparation program and student teaching
  • Proficient in MS Word and Email
Working Conditions:

The History Teacher will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent deadlines and a high level of workflow management. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and maintain accurate and complete records of student progress.
