The Recreation Attendant position at Seabrook Hospitality could be an ideal match for you. In this role, you will be essential in creating enjoyable experiences for guests, focusing on the upkeep of the beautiful Crescent Park Indoor and Sunshine Outdoor Swimming Pool. You will represent Seabrook by staying updated on local happenings, addressing common inquiries, and guiding guests to appropriate resources. Keeping shared pool facilities, restrooms, changing areas, and outdoor game equipment organized and clean is vital for a pleasant atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure guests are registered Seabrook visitors upon pool entry.
  • Regularly sanitize frequently touched surfaces throughout the day.
  • Manage towel supplies and rearrange furniture as necessary.
  • Conduct routine inspections of designated areas to collect litter, used linens, and other items.
  • Report lost and found items, damages, and inventory issues to supervisors.
  • Supervise 'The Dugout' and oversee the lending and return of outdoor recreational gear and games.
  • Follow up with guests regarding unreturned equipment.
  • Accurately process payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle secure credit/debit card transactions and other payment methods.
  • Assist guests, manage inventory, process payments, and maintain cleanliness at the skating rink to ensure a positive recreational experience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment, demonstrating patience with both customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with various technologies and systems, including timekeeping software and email applications.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work and educational experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, housekeeping, service industry, or similar roles, showcasing the ability to perform essential job functions.
  • All candidates must successfully complete a background check prior to employment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Capability to adapt to varying temperature conditions, transitioning between indoor and outdoor environments, and engaging in diverse physical activities.
  • Occasional exposure to environmental factors such as moving objects, dust, gas/fumes, extreme temperatures, vibration, and noise.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
