About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Health Park Medical Center. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the catheterization laboratory, including the setup and operation of imaging equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and applying ECG and other monitoring devices.
  • Assist the physician during procedures, including injecting contrast media, monitoring the patient's vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images of the patient's cardiovascular system.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the smooth operation of the catheterization laboratory and to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology.
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a catheterization laboratory or related field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
