Role Summary:
As a Truck Operator at Just North Transport LLC, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods to various locations in a safe and efficient manner. You will be an essential component of our logistics framework, ensuring that products are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain company vehicles, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
- Plan and execute efficient routes to optimize travel time and reduce fuel usage.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring it is secured properly to avoid damage during transit.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain effective communication with dispatch and team members to coordinate deliveries.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid CDL Class A or B driver's license.
- Demonstrated experience as a truck operator or in a similar capacity.
- Clean driving history with no significant infractions.
- Ability to manage physical demands and perform manual tasks as required.
