Position Overview:
As a BIM Specialist, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a crucial role in:
- Developing, modifying, validating, and preparing detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings to align with project specifications.
- Producing detailed product drawings necessary for manufacturing processes.
- Creating installation drawings for the Operations team.
- Understanding and navigating blueprint drawings effectively.
- Contributing to the project dashboard and tracking system.
- Collaborating with the Operations team and BIM support lead to ensure that detailing and installation practices are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reviewing, evaluating, and maintaining VDC deliverables in partnership with the Operations team and BIM support lead.
- Achieving positive project outcomes measured by labor efficiency and quality standards.
- Managing the workflow of assigned tasks effectively.
- Providing constructive feedback to the BIM lead and Supervisor to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing efficiency during field installations.
- Completing record drawings upon project completion.
- Engaging in various construction projects, including commercial, mission-critical, healthcare, industrial, and high-rise developments.
- Recognizing the needs of project stakeholders and providing accurate timelines for all work packages to the BIM project lead and/or Supervisor.
- Identifying and communicating potential installation conflicts with other trades.
- Reading and understanding submittals for equipment sizing and layout during modeling.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong experience with BIM software or relevant commercial electrical field experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
