JOB SUMMARY

We are in search of a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to deliver patient and provider support through the utilization of ultrasound imaging technologies, facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac ailments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct timely and comprehensive vascular scans along with necessary documentation.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and measurements for performed procedures and appropriately assigned studies.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for each study and verify that all required documentation is available.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
  • Facilitate additional studies as requested by healthcare providers.
  • Conduct monthly ICAVL reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Completion of a program that meets eligibility criteria for registry/certification or currently holds the required registry or certification.

Experience

  • No additional experience required beyond the aforementioned education/certification prerequisites.
  • Level I - Must obtain ARDMS certifications as mandated by each entity within 18 months of employment.
  • Level II - Requires a minimum of two years' experience as a Sonographer.
  • Level III - Requires at least four years' experience within the specialty modality for promotion consideration.

Certifications

  • ARDMS/CCI certification in Echocardiography
  • ARDMS/CCI certification to be obtained within 18 months of hire
  • BLS certification
