Job Description

Company Overview: Steve Ford Trucking is a reputable transportation company offering competitive pay and benefits to experienced Class A truck drivers.

Job Summary: We are seeking skilled CDL-A truck drivers for regional and OTR positions. Our fleet consists of newer model Peterbilt 579 Ultralofts and Kenworth T680s, equipped with advanced features such as APUs, refrigerators, and power inverters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials
  • Ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining a safe and efficient driving record
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight restrictions

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL with 10 months of tractor-trailer experience
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Fairly clean driving record
  • No DUIs or felonies in the last 7 and 5 years, respectively
  • Ability to pass a urine and hair pre-employment drug screen

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rate of $0.62cpm (includes a $0.10cpm per diem)
  • Average weekly pay of $1500-$1800
  • Home every weekend for at least 48 hours
  • 100% no touch, 85% drop and hook freight
  • Pre-Pass provided for weight station bypass
  • Rider and pet policy
