Trial Lawyer

The Ward Law Group, PL is a leading law firm in personal injury cases, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and dedicated attorney to manage the entire litigation process, from initial filing to verdict. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, excellent research and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire litigation process, including handling CPL cases, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, and preparing pre-litigation cases for legal proceedings.
• Screen potential litigation clients, conduct case law research, and manage case records while liaising with insurance companies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents, and prepare for and participate in mediations under supervision.
• Negotiate settlements, interview and depose witnesses, advocate in trials, and prepare clients for depositions.
• Provide counsel to clients, conduct investigations into coverage issues, and engage in medical management on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Member of the Florida Bar (other state bars a plus).
• Strong research, verbal and written communication, and people skills.
• Professionalism and prioritization of client customer service and representation.
• Experience and knowledge on how to evaluate the value of claims.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently.
• Minimum 3+ years of personal injury experience required.
