Member Service Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Contact Representative to join our team at First Financial Credit Union. As a key member of our contact center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.


Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide personalized service to members, answering their questions and addressing their concerns
  • Upsell and cross-sell credit union products and services to members
  • Process and balance accounts, including ordering checks, statements, and check copies
  • Calculate and quote dividends (interest) and loan payments
  • Pay off loans and process payroll deductions
  • Provide general information and answer member questions
  • Set up automatic transfers and advise members of investment opportunities
  • Refer members to the opening, adjusting, and closing of accounts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of customer service procedures at the credit union preferred
  • Excellent oral communication skills and patience to work with the public
  • Basic accounting skills sufficient to process and balance accounts
  • Strong personal computer skills, especially data entry
  • Ability to cross-sell products and services
