Six Flags Internship Program: Hospitality and Amusement Park Tourism

This internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the hospitality and amusement park tourism industry. Throughout the program, interns will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, interact with guests, and work closely with a team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of employees and provide guidance and direction.
- Participate in Team Leader meetings.
- Aquire knowledge about scheduling procedures.
- Collaborate in creating and implementing safety and guest experience improvements.
- Complete one project benefiting at least one part of the Guest relations department determined by management.
- Attend seminars held by various departments within the park.
- Work on a real-world business case as a team project with other Interns and present findings and recommendations directly to Senior Leadership.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Excellent human relations and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in all three parks (theme park, water park, and safari tolls).
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information.
- Promote and support a team work environment.
- Adapt to changes easily.
- Tolerate a fast-paced environment.
- Be sensitive to the needs of guests and empowered to act to meet their needs within company guidelines.
