Job Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate, sterilize, clean, assemble, wrap, label, and process medical instruments.
  • Prepare trays for cases while maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
  • Clean and disinfect medical equipment.
  • Assist the operating room with sterile instruments or trays as needed.
  • Ensure proper preventive maintenance is performed on all equipment used.
  • Operate washer/disinfector, sterilizers, scope washers, and other relevant equipment.
  • Prepare and pack decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
  • Maintain manufacturer's guidelines for equipment.
  • Assemble and prepare trays for various medical procedures, ensuring adherence to specific surgical requirements.
  • Ensure all broken instruments are repaired, and all dull instruments are sharpened by the proper vendor in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain stringent decontamination protocols for a wide range of medical instruments, contributing to safe and effective patient care.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with staff, physicians, patients, and the public.
  • Communicate effectively with operating room staff to meet their needs.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of current Sonographer experience - Required
  • RDMS - Required
  • RVT Certificate - Required
  • BLS through AHA - Required
  • COVID 19 Vaccinated - Required
  • Ultrasound Tech experience
  • Travel required
Work Schedule

Afternoon shift, 8 hours shift, 5x8, Monday to Friday, 1:00PM - 9:30PM

Compensation

$60.00 per hour
