Substitute Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team at Classical Charter Schools of Whiteville. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of our educational programs and providing a supportive learning environment for our students.

• Assist the Content Teacher in preparing students for standardized tests and helping them master the curriculum.
• Support students in developing social skills and promoting a positive classroom environment.
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as grading papers and recording grades in the grade book.
• Monitor student behavior and ensure their safety during recess and other activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff members as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's Degree or Certified Teacher preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• Ability to perform clerical duties and operate common office machines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
