Role Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for a variety of recruiting functions, including:
1. Posting job openings on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and external job boards.
2. Collaborating with hiring managers to assess staffing requirements and keeping the Human Resources Manager updated on recruitment activities.
3. Conducting initial screening interviews, either in-person or virtually.
4. Establishing outreach initiatives within the community, engaging with businesses, colleges, and universities.
5. Performing reference and background checks.
6. Making informed recommendations to hiring managers.
7. Coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
8. Building and maintaining relationships with external clients to fulfill staffing needs.
9. Communicating effectively with applicants throughout the recruitment process.
10. Staying informed on company policies and relevant employment laws.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 7 AM - 11 AM

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in recruiting or human resources.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Previous experience in recruitment.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in operating personal computers and familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to type accurately at a moderate speed.
- Understanding of basic EEO/AAP legislation and interviewing techniques.
- Strong business telephone etiquette and command of Business English, including proofreading skills.

Compensation:
This position offers an hourly wage, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), legal assistance, and paid time off.
