Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Xenia, OH area. This position involves providing speech and language therapy services to students in school settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Intervention and Therapy: Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies and support plans.
  • IEP Development: Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to school staff and parents on speech and language development and intervention strategies.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
