As a Physician Advisor, you will play a critical role in promoting evidence-based standards of medical care while ensuring the efficient use of hospital resources.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Department of Care Coordination, Medical Staff, and Administration to facilitate communication and optimize resource utilization.
- Perform secondary medical necessity reviews to mitigate denials for payment from insurance payers.
- Provide compliance support for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation.
- Champion good stewardship of resources and optimize revenue capture.
- Minimum of five years clinical practice experience.
- Active member in good standing of Hospital's medical staff and participating member of various medical committees.
