RN - Operating Room/ Ambulatory Surgery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families, promoting a culture of patient-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with industry advancements and best practices.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in Operating Room/Ambulatory Surgery nursing.
