We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Assembly Specialist who will report to the Production Manager in our Orem Manufacturing Facility.

The work schedule for this position will be Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with most major holidays off.
Summary/Objective

The assembly specialist performs repetitive work-station or line-assembly operations to mass-produce components or to assemble those components into a finished product by executing the following duties.

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Engage in packaging and palletizing within a fast-paced setting.
- Execute any assembly-type functions, utilizing hand tools or required equipment.
- Operate any necessary equipment to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of production equipment and production area in accordance with cGMP and company guidelines.
- Verify that all components used are accurate, with lot numbers and quantities documented, and label components appropriately after use.
- Ensure all related production documentation and equipment use and cleaning logs are completed accurately.
- Responsible for upholding the quality of materials and finished products.
- Cross-train with other roles and production areas to assist in meeting production goals.
- Conduct minor preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to company policies, cGMPs, and Standard Operating Procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.

The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in food or dietary supplement manufacturing
- Familiarity with GMP guidelines
