Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students' communication and language development in Boise, ID.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized therapy plans, conduct speech and language sessions, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans.
  • Conduct speech and language sessions with students in groups and one-on-one.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques and materials to address students' communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and contribute to the development of progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
  • State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Idaho.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students of various ages and backgrounds.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
