The manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the plant's readiness for inspections, working collaboratively with other Wise Snacks locations to implement best practices, and overseeing sanitation personnel.
Shift: This position operates on the 3rd Shift, with hours from 11:30 PM to 8:15 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and refine the sanitation program to uphold the plant's Safe Quality Food certification.
- Implement innovative methods and systems to enhance sanitation efficiency.
- Ensure that equipment and facilities meet sanitary standards.
- Coordinate with various departments for the maintenance of equipment and overall facility cleanliness.
- Guarantee compliance with customer specifications and regulatory standards.
- Inspire and lead plant personnel towards achieving sanitation excellence and safety.
- Engage in safety meetings, training sessions, and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of four years' experience in plant sanitation, including at least two years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficient in developing operational guidelines and providing training.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
