Job Summary:

Chipton-Ross is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team in a contract opportunity. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for working with a team of engineers to perform integration and test of active electronically steered array (AESA) antennas for solid state radars in nearfield and farfield environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tests, document faults, troubleshoot root causes, develop solutions and document integration and testing of the AESA antenna and supporting systems.
  • Support development of daily test plans and coordination of daily test activities.
  • Perform analysis of test results to support verification and validation of system performance.
  • Writes discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with near field test ranges, familiarity with AESA architecture desired.
  • Must be able to work in a Linux OS environment.
  • Strong Matlab skills required.
  • Must have schedule flexibility to work overnight shifts and/or weekend shifts on an offset work week schedule for extended durations as required.

Education:

  • Accredited HSD/GED

  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift
