Job SummaryThe Teamcenter Solutions Architect will work closely with Air Force Capability Support Office (CSO) clients to elicit requirements, recommend designs, and configure Teamcenter including stylesheets and forms. This position requires an expert understanding of Teamcenter and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
The ideal candidate must be able to elicit functional requirements and assist clients in trade-space analysis to develop efficient and effective solution configurations. An understanding of configuration best practices and the ability to resolve issues promptly is essential.
This role will be part of a broader solution team, so while expertise in all areas of Teamcenter is not required, the individual should be able to create business objects/attributes, work with stylesheets for data presentation within Teamcenter, interact with the BMIDE to invoke necessary templates, configure simple workflows, organize groups/roles, and collaborate with other team members to resolve issues.
This position is based near Dayton, OH, to support future classified activities, configuration, and data load work on client sites. Full telework will be considered.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology to define user stories and necessary deliverables during Sprint planning within assigned Scrum project teams.
- Advocate for users' needs and work with Product Owners to develop features that meet their requirements.
- Transform requirements into intuitive interfaces for end-users.
- Support trade-space analysis with clients to develop efficient and effective configurations.
- Analyze and resolve design alternatives and issues.
- Create briefings and technical documents to assist clients in making informed decisions.
- Prepare solution documentation (navigational flows, wireframes, mockups, use cases, task flows, prototypes, etc.) for the development team.
- Collect and act on feedback from customers/end-users and manage changes to deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure solution documentation is continuously updated and distributed to the production team.
- Configure workflows.
- Test deployed solutions and troubleshoot anomalies to resolution.
- Coordinate issue resolution with GTAC and similar infrastructure/software support activities.
- Work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, ISSE, Engineering Subject Matter Experts, and Infrastructure/Network Administrators to achieve objectives.
- US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- At least 4 years of experience in building world-class PLM solutions.
- Degree in a related field required.
- Design experience in the industry, government, or as part of degree curriculum.
- Expert understanding of Siemens product installation and configuration with a focus on Teamcenter.
- Experience creating polished designs and evangelizing design principles.
- Experience rapidly iterating designs to align with Sprint timetables.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality and engaging results.
- Experience with Lean and/or Agile development approaches.
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
- Experience delivering presentations to clients.
- Able to acquire/maintain an IAT II certification such as Security+.
- Adequate home working environment to include dedicated office space for productive remote work.
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
