We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to provide comprehensive respiratory care and contribute to the safety of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Administer respiratory care procedures and modalities in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practices, clinical decision making, and skilled communication to create a safe patient environment.
- Operate specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues.
- Provide medication treatments and therapies per physician order and/or patient-driven respiratory protocols as prescribed.
- RCP license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Active RRT credential or CRT credential if received prior to January 1, 2023.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree.
The estimated salary for this role is $40-$45 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including shift differentials, 401(k) company contribution, and opportunity for yearly merit increases within the salary range.
