We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team in Boston. As a key member of our East Geography, you will be responsible for leading the design of electrical systems on medium to large-scale complex projects, including healthcare, laboratories, commercial, aviation, and rail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects
  • Provide leadership for the electrical discipline and project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination
  • Prepare and review construction documents, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Present technical material to technical and non-technical audiences, effectively communicating project goals and objectives
  • Lead projects, working closely with project managers to deliver quality work, meeting deadlines and budget constraints
  • Connect solutions and ideas to bigger picture project goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Client-facing, working with owners, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Participate in business development, responding to project opportunities and contributing to the growth of our electrical engineering services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering
  • 8 or more years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings or infrastructure projects
  • Ability to lead the electrical discipline as lead electrical designer for projects, with good organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for team-based working
  • Ability to present technical material for review by technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with 3D BIM software, preferably Revit MEP
Preferred Skills
  • Professional Engineering License in the US and LEED accreditation
  • Experience with power system modeling using SKM or similar software
  • Ability to lead projects of varied scales

The good faith base salary hiring range for this job, if performed in Boston, is $125,000 to $148,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note that hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Boston will differ.
