We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Allure of Geneseo. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our nursing staff in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants, plan shift services, and make written and oral reports as required.
- Patient Care: Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, provide leadership to nursing personnel, and complete required recordkeeping forms.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
- Communication and Teamwork: Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility.
- Confidentiality and Safety: Maintain confidentiality of resident care information, report incidents of unauthorized disclosure, and ensure that all nursing care is provided in privacy.
- Education and Licensure: Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Certifications and Experience: Current CPR Certification and experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
- Mobility and Stamina: Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility.
- Physical Strength: Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
