Job Summary

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet global chemical control laws and regulations. This includes working with our product safety software tool to create globally compliant SDS's and labels, determining product regulatory status, and maintaining raw material SDS's and data. You'll also respond to customer regulatory requests using established verbiage and templates, provide support to consulting resources as needed, and represent the company on external trade groups and teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procedures for managing raw material and product records
  • Work with product safety software tool to ensure creation of globally compliant SDS's and labels
  • Determine product regulatory status using information provided by vendors and product safety software system
  • Maintain and share raw material SDS's and data within established systems
  • Respond to customer regulatory requests using established templates and verbiage
  • Provide support to consulting resources as necessary
  • Represent the company on external trade groups and teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Toxicology with strong background in organic &/or powder coating chemistry
  • Background in hazard communication including GHS with 2+ years of experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Able to efficiently manage time and workload, develop, follow, and audit against established procedures

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $$85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a comprehensive retirement plan.
