Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop targeted intervention strategies.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders, with a focus on student progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions, to promote effective communication and social skills.
  • Regularly monitor student progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure student success.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Illinois license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
