About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at TRC Talent Solutions' Winston Salem location.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting maintenance, engineering, and production by repairing and/or machining parts and components. This is a first shift Monday to Friday position (6:45 AM - 3:00 PM).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain roll database and provide backup to machine shop as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment and evaluate, recommend, and implement changes to improve machine health.
  • Responsible for grinding, cutting back rubber rolls and machining/repairing journals and bearing housing.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five years of machinist experience with proficiency in manual lathes and mills.
  • Proficient in welding.
