Adjunct Faculty Position

Mount Wachusett Community College is seeking qualified individuals to join its adjunct faculty pool as a nursing instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in both traditional and non-traditional learning modes.
Salary Range: $4,191-$5,064 (per credit lecture), $5,588-$6,752 (per 4 credit lecture), $6,259-$7,562 (per 4 credit lab)
About the Job
As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to our students. You will be responsible for preparing student clinical assignments, supervising students in clinical settings, evaluating students, correcting clinical papers, demonstrating procedures and patient care in nursing settings, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a minimum of two years full-time experience in nursing or its equivalent, one of those years in the provision of nursing services in a nursing home. Additionally, you must have a minimum of one year experience in lesson planning, delivery, student evaluation, and remediation in a health care setting or complete a minimum of 24 Board of Registration in Nursing approved Continuing Education hours in curriculum development, teaching adult learners, and student evaluation.
