Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication disorders, including speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans to address these issues.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients to improve their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech pathology to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Arkansas.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
