Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Walmart. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and proactive maintenance on facility equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective equipment maintenance and repair
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and equipment to ensure the highest level of maintenance and repair

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or repair
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
