Asphalt Technician

Pavement Preservation Group is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
• Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential problems
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel Repair Specialist
• Ability to operate all Asphalt-related equipment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A valid clean driver's license and CDL (if applicable)
