Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiac ultrasound testing and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient cardiac ultrasound testing, including 2D echo/Doppler, stress exams, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Provide technical care using ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Document and report preliminary exam findings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCL) certification.
  • Credential in echocardiography, such as RDCS or RCS.
  • Two years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer preferred.
