Position Overview:

The role of the bartender is to deliver an exceptional guest experience by crafting unique cocktails and providing insightful recommendations on local craft beers and wines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons in the bar and restaurant.
  • Engage with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
  • Evaluate customer preferences and make tailored recommendations.
  • Mix ingredients to create a variety of cocktails.
  • Design and present the bar menu.
  • Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age.
  • Restock and replenish bar supplies and inventory.
  • Maintain a guest-focused atmosphere to enhance the overall experience.
  • Adhere to all food and beverage regulations.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of classic cocktails and demonstrate the ability to prepare them efficiently.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to foster unique experiences and promote outstanding customer service.
  • Check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including guest areas and dining ware.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, following established standards and checklists.
  • Follow cash handling procedures, accurately processing credit card transactions and providing correct bills.
  • Understand pour-cost control and participate in inventory management to maintain appropriate stock levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Positive demeanor and excellent communication abilities.
  • Capability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
  • Relevant training certification.
