Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT and C-arm Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday with various shifts between 8:30am-5pm and 9:00am-5:30pm, with no weekends or call.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the scanning process.
  • Screen patients for any precautions or contraindications before exams, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Prepare patients for CT or Diagnostic and Therapeutic Injection (DTI) procedures, explaining the process and positioning patients for optimal scanning.
  • Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform scanning procedures independently.
