Nurse Oncology Outpatient Clinic Lead

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse RN Oncology Outpatient Clinic to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.
- Provide expert care and support to patients with cancer, including monitoring patients after surgery, administering chemotherapy, and helping patients access resources needed to ease their journey.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Assist with staff scheduling, managing all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
