We are seeking a skilled and caring Support Specialist to join our team at WellLife Network. In this role, you will work closely with our program participants to develop personalized plans that promote their social responsibility, independence, dignity, and continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance each participant's social responsibility, independence, and dignity
- Assisting with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Providing emotional support and guidance to program participants
- Participating in moderate physical activities as part of recreation programs
- Attending scheduled staff meetings, mandatory in-service training sessions, and assigned annual meetings
Requirements:
A High School diploma or equivalency diploma is required. Experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental or other behavioral health disabilities is preferred.
