Position Overview

As a Banquet Bartender, you will play a vital role in our team, essential for delivering authentic hospitality. Our ideal candidates are energetic, eager to advance in the hospitality field, and genuinely care about their colleagues. Banquet Bartenders are tasked with fostering positive guest interactions while serving high-quality beverages in a friendly and safe manner. They may also assist with serving and attending to tables, ensuring our patrons enjoy outstanding dining and event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Comply with laws and company policies regarding alcohol service.
  • Effectively communicate with guests and assist them in their food and beverage choices.
  • Maintain a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Process orders efficiently.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area, prepare, and stock the bar for the shift.
  • Become proficient in all specialty cocktails and show enthusiasm for our offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Banquet Bartender in an event-focused venue.
  • A passion for teamwork, high-quality food and beverages, and exceptional hospitality.
  • Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working effectively in a systematic and structured setting.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good judgment and an adaptable attitude.
  • Quickly learn the event menu and show enthusiasm for our offerings.
  • Must possess all required food and alcohol certifications as mandated by the location.

Reports to: Catering Operations Manager

Department: FOH Operations

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift trays weighing up to approximately 30 pounds.
  • Must tolerate potential exposure to allergens such as peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.
  • Good hearing is necessary for effective communication with team members and guests.
