Job Title: Healthcare Administrator for Home Health Agency

Home Health Agency is seeking an experienced Administrator to lead our Home Health team in Winter Park, FL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and directing the agency's day-to-day operations, maintaining a positive image of the agency in the communities we serve, and ensuring compliance with state and national regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall operations and services of all programs of the agency.
  • Plan, coordinate, direct, and control the operations of the Agency in compliance with Board mission and directives.
  • Ensure fiscal success of the agency in compliance with Board directives.
  • Stay up-to-date on new developments related to the Agency in regard to state and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure all required documentation is obtained and available pursuant to all local, state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
  • Assist with the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, and discipline of the sales team in accordance with the sales leadership.
  • Report monthly to the Board of Directors on regional sales performance and issues that need to be addressed to achieve goals.
  • Interview, hire, supervise, evaluate, and discipline staff in accordance with company policies and procedures and state/federal regulations.
  • Ensure all agency requirements are ready for billing and month-end close.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state(s) serviced by the agency strongly preferred or Bachelor's or Master's degree in business and/or health-related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years Home Health experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years recent Medicare certified home health and/or hospice agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Training and experience in health service administration and at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care and/or hospice or related health programs preferred.
  • Previous budget and profit & loss statement management experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal & state laws and guidelines pertaining to hospice and Medicare required.
  • Proven success in revenue growth and in the development and execution of market planning.
  • High-level management skills including conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication, budget administration, and coaching/mentoring others.
