Angiographic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Angiographic Technologist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As an Angiographic Technologist, you will assist procedural physicians in performing angiographic and special procedures for adult and geriatric patients.

• Prepares rooms and patients using strict sterile technique
• Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimal patient care
• Operates and performs diagnostic and C-arm procedures utilizing various systems
• Captures proper charges on a daily basis
• Performs diagnostic procedures as needed
• May be required to work extended duty and on-call shifts

• California CRT and Fluoroscopy certification required
• A.R.R.T. certification preferred
• Venipuncture license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Basic dysrhythmia course required
• Hemodynamic monitoring class preferred
• Completion of an intra-aortic balloon pump class
• Completion of yearly supplemental competency validation
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient
• Knowledgeable in the use of various angio supplies
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize angio suite workflow
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms

• Background check and live scan required
• Legal right to work in the United States required
