- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. Associate's Degree (ADN) accepted with a commitment to complete BSN within 5 years.
- Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or privilege to practice under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in an acute care setting, with a minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to display a caring demeanor and work collaboratively with others.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in computer skills, with the ability to navigate electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
