We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to children, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Examine and diagnose dental diseases and health problems in children
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address dental health issues
- Provide preventative dental care, including fluoride treatments and sealants
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for children
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental research and technologies to provide the best possible care
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program or equivalent experience
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in the state where the position is located
- Ability to work effectively with children and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. The selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and to obtain any necessary certifications or licenses.
