Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at West Fraser. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), planning and scheduling work, and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the CMMS to optimize maintenance operations
- Plan and schedule work to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve maintenance efficiency
- Collaborate with reliability personnel to ensure alignment with reliability standards and tolerances
- Prepare future work schedules to ensure optimal resource allocation
- Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in CMMS software and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
