About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Director to lead our culinary operations in a single site. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure that food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the foodservice program, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise a team of cooks, dietary aides, and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food production.
  • Maintain accurate records of income and expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in food service management or hospitality, or equivalent experience.
  • Specialized training in foodservice management and nutrition is required.
  • Must show proof of or successfully complete an approved Conference of Food Protection (CFP) Food Protection Manager (FPM) course within the first 14 days of employment.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) course participant, or certification as required by State & County law.
  • Two years of experience in quantity food production/service, dining/nutrition, and personnel supervision experience are desired.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting.

As a Food Service Director with Healthcare Services Group, Inc., you can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
