We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our team at GRAHAM OAKS CARE CENTER. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide direction and oversight to our nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver exceptional care.
  • Medication Administration: Ensure that medications are properly administered to residents, in accordance with company policies and federal guidelines.
  • Care Planning: Implement resident care plans in compliance with company and federal guidelines, and physician's orders.
  • Treatment Administration: Perform treatments as required, and ensure that residents receive timely and accurate care.
  • Documentation: Accurately and promptly document resident charts, and complete nursing assessments as required.
  • Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports, and ensure that all necessary information is communicated to team members.
  • Policies and Procedures: Implement established nursing policies and procedures, educating support staff regarding care needs of residents.
  • Safety and Infection Control: Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
  • Staffing: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize work flow, respond to emergencies, and note detail.
