Job Summary

As a Hickory Tavern Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. We are seeking a friendly and attentive individual who can provide exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and seats guests in a timely and proficient manner, demonstrating our hospitality mentality.
  • Answers phone, opens doors, and seats guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Performs opening, running, and closing side work, ensuring a smooth operation.
  • Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assists other team members as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
  • Keeps the Six Commitments of a Tavern Team Member every day, every shift:

Requirements
  • Stands/walks 4 to 8 hours per shift, maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Reaches, lifts, and bends frequently, demonstrating physical stamina.
  • Ability to read and write English, communicating effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to guests, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to be friendly and smile, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
