We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Weatherby Healthcare. As a Locums Physician Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our experienced team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant
- Board certification or eligibility
- 12-hour shifts, 24-hour shifts, and other flexible scheduling options
- BLS and NRP certification
- Credentialing and DEA registration
- Health, vision, dental, and 401(k) retirement benefits offered

Compensation and Benefits
From $83.00 to $105.00 hourly. Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
